The CMA Awards will not have a live audience

The 54th Annual CMA Awards will not have a live audience, according to a letter by CEO Sarah Trahern sent to members today (9/3). Attendance will be limited to essential personnel at the yet-to-be-announced venue, and no tickets will be sold. The news follows the announcement of this year's artist and broadcast nominees .
